I've been following Bloom County since it first came out in the Pacific Stars and Stripes back during the most excellent decade of the 1980s. Not a day would go by without my Opus fix, my Steve Dallas envy and my Bill the Cat sense of self-righteousness. You made my time growing up as an overseas U.S. Army brat seem a little closer to home. Thank you Berke and thanks for bringing it all back. Episode XI is top notch new addition to the Bloom County library with just the right amount of hodge podge and salient milquetoast for our times.
