Review

Alien Cyberwarrior’s Matched Mate tells the story of Latharian warrior Berrick B’Kaar and human woman Isabella. Like most Warriors of Lathar books, it’s a quick, fun read featuring a heroine who is desperate for a future that doesn’t lock her in a cage, a loving, protective hero longing to find a mate, and their journey to an HEA. The fact that the hero is a B’Kaar is a nice element, and was the first book I read featuring one of the ‘cyberwarrior’ heroes. I loved it! Carter continues to build and expand her Latharian mates books in new and ingenious ways, adding elements of danger, details of the dystopian world the humans have created, and plenty of emotional ups and downs. This book is no exception. I really liked both the characters, and finding out more about the B’Kaar clan was a real highlight. Isabella has some secrets that come to light to complicate things as well, so this is a really eventful book, but the focus remains squarely on the relationship development and the HEA journey, so it seems to fly by. Another great Latharian warrior book!
