Desciption
Henry Wolf is a deliciously wicked, sinfully handsome man who has done a very bad thing. Potentially. Worse, he owns me now - every inch of my body and a sizeable chunk of my stupid, naïve heart. And he's made it clear that if I want to keep my job and stay in Alaska, I'm stuck catering to his every whim and wish - both in the hotel and in his bedroom - while I wait for the potential fiery media circus ring that will no doubt drag my reputation into the gutter along with his, should his past discretions surface. I will not surrender to his demands, not when I have dirt to hold over his head. If I have the guts to blackmail him, that is. Something warns me that going through with it will have disastrous consequences for my heart. Contains mature themes. Read more
Review
🥃 Break Me 🥃 (Book 2 in the Wolf Hotel series) by K.A. Tucker5/5 ⭐️2/5 🌶️🥃 Emotional Damage. I’m saying the title of this book is so true to its word. It broke me. I was all emotional and angry and I wanted to crawl through this book and shake some of these characters. I was screaming at Abbi telling her to STOP and then also being like “hmmmm okay that could work”. The emotional damage surely does pay off though!🥃 Abbi suffers a lot of emotional turmoil in this book. Insecurities running high, her trust issues are on full display as well which then causes this major shift between her and Henry. Then we start to see her sort of evolve - in the after. You watch her take control of her needs and wants and eventually finds herself being “okay”. Yes, I said it. Just okay. Enough where she can make friends and connections - but those could also cost her.🥃 This is a book where if you love Henry you will genuinely loathe him - because words freaking hurt man. It makes really happy you don’t get his POV in this series - because it makes the ending so worth it. It makes see everything unfold come to life in a way you wouldn’t be able to with his POV.🥃 I enjoyed the side characters more in this book as well - most of them getting to come out of their shells. There’s a scene in this book that had welling up in tears because it’s just a moment where you’re like “😩😭😩😭😩😭”. And you say to yourself - they’re right.📖
