I absolutely loved reading Brugal Obsession: A Dark Hockey Romance(Hockey Gods)!!!! All about Violet Reece is a young girl who is a junior in college and a ballet dancer & Greyson Devereux is a junior in college and a hockey player. Violet is at the top of her game, she has the lead in Swan Lake, she goes home to Rose Point for a meeting, on her way home she gets into an accident that ends her dancing career. The boy who ran into her is a Senators son, he was arrested but let go four hours later, no jail time and no civil case was ever brought. It’s taken Violet almost a year to get back on her feet after the multiple surgeries and the physical therapy and the mental therapy. She’s finally back in college and is with her BFF(Willow) when they meet the hockey boys, and Violet turns white, the new star hockey player is Greyson, the guy who hit her. Read about Violet & Greyson and see how they turn a horrible situation into an obsession! Lots of emotion, and plenty of toe curling does occur. It’s not a book for the faint at heart, it’s hard core with lots of triggers!! But I could not put this book down, it was riveting, and I loved all the characters, even the one you think you want to hate, but can’t. Definite Read!!! I can’t wait to read book two!!!!
